'Pink Out' football game will honor middle school accident victim | Community Spirit
Boonville Middle School will honor a classmate who passed away over the summer. The middle school’s football game against Princeton has been designated as Pink Out Night in remembrance of Hunter McDaniel, who died in a dirt bike accident in July.
The event will be held at the Boonville Middle School on Tuesday September 17 at 6:30 pm between the 7th and 8th grade game.
“We have asked everyone who attends to wear pink,” stated coach Neil Posey. “Why pink? Because that was Hunters favorite color! We are very excited to honor a friend, student and outstanding athlete we dearly miss.”
They have asked Princeton to wear pink as well. Hunter grew up in Boonville, but had attended Tecumseh during the last year and they’re hoping Braves fans will come out as well.
