Reward offered in missing turkey case | Crime
The McDaniel family is asking for help after a decorative turkey was taken from their son's grave on Tuesday.
Christopher McDaniel says his wife Kristi stopped by the Greenwood Cemetery in Chandler Tuesday morning. The three foot wooden turkey with the inscription "Happy Turkey Day, Blake" was on their son's grave.
When she went back later that afternoon, she says the turkey was gone.
"We have put this turkey up every Thanksgiving since November 2006, two months after Blake passed away. It is very important to all of us, but especially to Blake's mother. She has been completely distraught that someone would do this," Christopher said.
The family is offering a $100 reward to anyone with information leading to its return.
