Title (Max 100 Characters)
Four Newburgh residents were arrested Wednesday afternoon on drug charges—two of them for the second time in less than amonth.
Newburgh police say around 4:30 PM, officers along with deputies from the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office went to 208 Cypress Street, Apartment C, to serve a Petition to Revoke Warrant on 20-year-old Taylor Dickens. When officers arrived at the residence, they say they saw Dickens inside the residence. However when officers knocked on the door, they saw Dickens running into a back bedroom.
Officers also observed another man run into the same bedroom. Officers say they knocked and announced their presence several times and no one would come to the door.
Officers then gained entry and found Dickens hiding in the back bedroom. In the rear of the apartment, officers saw a subject drop drug paraphernalia out of a window. While inside the apartment, in plain view, officers say they found many syringes and items used with illegal narcotic activity.
Dale Wilm, age 22, was in the apartment and found to also have a Petition to Revoke warrant on him. Those arrested at this apartment were:
Taylor Dickens for the Petition to Revoke Warrant and Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Dale Wilm for the Petition to Revoke Warrant and Possession of a Syringe, a Class D Felony; Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor; Visiting a Common Nuisance, Class B Misdemeanor; Obstruction of Justice, Class D Felony.
Erin Peerman, age 25, for Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class D Felony; Possession of a Syringe, Class D Felony; Possession of Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor.
Evan Mand, age 25, for Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class D Felony; Possession of a Syringe, Class D Felony; Possession of Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor; Possession of a Legend Drug, Class D Felony.
Police say it was the second time Peerman and Mand have been arrested out of this residence in less than one month. On January 16, officers were called to the same apartment on a domestic disturbance, where Peerman and Mand were both arrested on several narcotics charges. All four were taken to the Warrick County Security Center.
