Polar Bear Plunge breaks records

The 2013 Polar Bear Plunge at Scales Lake in Boonville was a record breaker. This benefits the Special Olympics of Indiana. What a tremendous honor to emcee this event for the last 10-years…and the support continues to grow each year. I remember the first few years…there were only 10-15 plungers.

Polar Bear Plunge should see decent weather

Polar Bear Plunge should see decent weather

February is not the best time to jump in the lake. However, not too bad this year for the Polar Bear Plunge this coming Saturday at Scales Lake in Boonville. This benefits the Special Olympics of Indiana.

Temperatures on Saturday at jump time will be in the mid to upper 40s under partly cloudy skies. The mild temps all week long have helped warmed up Scales Lake....a little.
