NEWBURGH, IN (WFIE)- An old Warrick County murder case is resurfacing as the convicted killer is asking to be set free.
The post conviction relief hearing for 68-year-old Mark Jervis began around 9:00 Tuesday morning.
Jervis is serving a 60-year sentence after a jury found him guilty of murdering then 33-year-old Terri Boyer.
Judge Aylsworth, who sentenced Jervis back in 1995, presided over the relief hearing.
Roughly 20 members of Terri Boyer's family were in the courtroom on Tuesday.
