State Rep. Suzanne Crouch (R-Evansville) recently hosted a local student as a page at the Statehouse. Jacob Whitacre from Boonville, is a senior at Castle High School.

“I am very proud of Jacob and these bright young students for being a part of such a great program in the Civil Air Patrol,” said Rep. Crouch. “The program is an excellent resource that builds character, enthusiasm and excellence in our children. I also want to thank them for serving as Pages at the Statehouse for a day. It is important that our kids take the opportunity to see the state government at work up close. It is always a pleasure to meet Pages from my district.”

Pages are able to see how the state legislature works firsthand in a behind-the-scenes tour. They are able to work alongside legislators, legislative assistants and interns.
