A mixed bag of home sale news in Warrick County. Sales were up 16% in June compared to June of 2010, but so far this year, sales are down nearly 15%.
The numbers are from data in a jointly released report from the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS (MIBOR) and the Indiana Association of REALTORS (IAR).
In June of this year, 73 homes were sold at a median price of $157,000. That's compared to 63 homes sold during June of 2010 at a median price of $143,000.
So far this year, the numbers are almost identical with 365 homes sold this year and 367 last year.
In the last 3 months, sales are down a little more than 5%.
In the last 12 continuous months, 652 homes were sold, down from 764 one year earlier.
