The annual Scales Lake Craft Fair and Flea Market will be here soon.  Booths are still available and if you’re coming to shop, there is free admission to the park.

April 20 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

April 21 - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Families and residents from Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties who will be unable to provide their immediate family a Christmas dinner and toys for their children may sign up for The Salvation Army’s Christmas Assistance in person.

Applications Will Be Taken At The Salvation Army, 1040 North Fulton Avenue from October 22, 2012—November 2 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Evening applications will be taken only on October 25 and November 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Mark’s Mattress Outlet in Evansville, is hosting an Extreme Couponing Event on Saturday, April 21.  Kelly Charles will host the events to be held from 9-11 at Mark’s Mattress Outlet Westside, and 1-3p at Mark’s Mattress Outlet in Newburgh. Charles has been featured on TLC’s Extreme Couponing show for two seasons and she is based in Northern Georgia. 

At these seminars,Charles will teach people how to save hundreds of dollars with coupons.  If you plan to attend the seminars, go to www.marksmattress.com and click on the Kelly Charles link. The seminar is $20 per person. All attendees will receive presentation packets and hundreds of dollars in coupons for attending the event.
