Hunter safety course offered at Angel Mounds | Sports & Recreation

Angel Mounds State Historic Site is sponsoring an Indiana Hunter Education Program.  The dates for the classes are Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30, from 8 AM to 1 PM Central Time both days.  Attendance of both days is mandatory.

Angel Mounds State Historic Site is located at 8215 Pollack Avenue in Evansville.

Indiana law requires that any person born after December 31 of 1986 must attend this course in order to purchase a hunting license.  The course is free.

The class will be geared towards the youth, but all ages are welcome.  Please bring writing utensils.  Refreshments will not be served.  Pre-registration is required.  Call 812-789-9538.
