SR 62 in Boonville closing for railroad crossing repair

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that State Road 62  in Boonville will be closing for a few days later this month.

Railroad contractor crews will be closing S.R. 62 from the junction of State Road 61 (S.R. 61) north junction to the junction of State Road 161 (S.R. 161).  Crews will be making repairs to the crossing 0.3 miles east of the S.R. 61 north junction.

The Indiana Department of Transportation is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 (I-64) in Posey, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties from Wednesday, April 13 until as late as Friday, April 13.

INDOT maintenance crews will be cleaning bridge decks and drains from the Indiana/Illinois State Line to State Road 61 (Exit 39). 

Crews will begin on Wednesday in the east bound lanes.  Once crews reach S.R. 61 work will then be shifted to the west bound lanes.

INDOT is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 (I-64) in Warrick and Spencer counties.   

Beginning Monday, March 19, INDOT crews will be performing maintenance work on I-64 from State Road 61 (Exit 39) to State Road 162 (Exit 63).  Work will continue through Wednesday, March 21.  It is anticipated all work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time and be complete by 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.  All lanes of I-64 in each direction will be affected during this time.

South 2nd Street to be closed in Boonville

Norfolk Southern plans to repair the railroad tracks on South 2nd Street starting Monday, March 5 at 9 a.m.  The road will be closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
