The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions in Pike and Warrick Counties.    

The city of Boonville wants Norfolk-Southern train officials to fix rough tracks on South 2nd Street.

Mayor Pam Hendrickson says the tracks there have caused a problem for several months.

She says railroad workers have been out to do patchwork at least three times but she says it's not helping and now they need a more permanent solution.

The mayor says many drivers who are familiar with the rough tracks are now driving on the other side of the tracks into oncoming traffic, posing a dangerous driving situation.

"It's quite uncomfortable,” she said.&
