About 100 participants braved cold temperatures Saturday, Feb. 18 at Scales Lake for the annual Polar Plunge benefitting Special Olympics.  They took pledges and then took a quick dip in the chilly...no, REALLY chilly...waters.

$23,353 was raised before the day was over. 

11,000 athletes compete in the Special Olympics across Indiana.
